Mardi Gras at Moonshines!!

 

“Laissez les bon temps rouler” which is Cajun for “Let the Good Times Roll”!   That was the theme and the mood last night at Moonshines and they most certainly did!

 

Early Monday, Shadow Tarber and Bliss Mellison were busy bees decorating for Mardi Gras!..

Fan give aways included sparklers and and cajun gestures and there was green and purple everywhere… The backdrop to the stage was the infamous balconies that line the streets of New Orleans with pose-balls for guests to have photo ops or dance.

 

Moonshines is already set in the Bayou so the mood was right for Mardi Gras and these ladies had the costumes and props needed to make it all happen.  When Franklee showed up with his beads, I was positive this would be one of those shows that goes down in the books.  … and I was right. 😛

The gang there for Tone’s show stayed on as the Dreamers poured in!  It was great too see so many faces like Spiral, Liz, Loon, Trouble and Rosalie out in the audience!  Then you had your Dreamers in costume looking FANtastic!  Kudos to Gemini, Aubreya, Zak , Esposaaa and of course our lovely venue owner Shadow, who stood on the balcony and threw beads into the crowd!

 

Franklee played to a packed house and he was in perfect form!  We peaked at 44 at one point, but so many people were coming and going and the excitement of the evening just made the night fly by.  But, not before we added 4 new Dreamers to our awesome group!  Welcome to all our new joins and thank you to all of you who came out to celebrate with us!

Tonight Franklee is headed to the world famous Whisky a Go Go at 8pm.  Hope we see you there!
