Junkyard Beach Club!
What a great Friday night at Junkyard Beach! The beach was hopping when Franklee took the stage at 7PM. Raynne and Trager were fantastic hosts and the venue is just pure fun, relaxed and very laid back! I love their quote “just relax on our junk”. - An interesting twist happened when Franklee decided to dig deep into his song list and play tunes he hadn’t done in a long time. The audience went along just enjoying every tune Frank put out there. We danced and chatted like it was a family reunion!
We all have our favorite Franklee tunes but a fan favorite definitely is the “Banana Pancake” song. People are always commenting and are inspired to discuss food in local! It’s the kind of song that gets the group chatting which just adds to the humor. It’s also very telling ya know.:P LOL
The crowd was great and in high spirits and Random was there with his favorite requests for Franklee. He has the best gestures that I would just love to steal! (but won’t because that’s wrong)! Franklee and Random go way back and it’s always fun to watch local and see what Random will say next. Never doubt though that Random speaks the truth. He is an authority on Frank’s music. He always adds flavor to the local banter!
Then there is Evangileen in her lovely dress and Ross in his dapper tux, out at the beach dancing the night away. They are such loyal Dreamers and always help to make the shows better with their requests and support.
As usual, the hour flew by so quick and by the end of the show, we had two new Dreamers added to our group! But the good news is, Franklee has a very busy month ahead with lots of new shows added so hope we get to see all of our Dreamers this month!
