Ask Franklee!!

I want to thank all the people for sending me messages in world and for the comments on the blogs.  It’s so much fun to be part of the Dreamers and to be on Franklee’s team!  I started out as his host in June of 2010 and we have been working together ever since.  In my opinion, it’s the best job in Second Life!! But even after all this time, there are plenty of things I don’t know about Franklee.  So, I would like to propose an “Ask Franklee” segment…

Does anyone have questions for Franklee? Things they would like to know about his music or his motivation behind certain songs?  This is a great opportunity to submit some of those inquiries. So, please post your questions in comments or feel free to send them to me in world and I will publish them.

Thank you all for your loyalty and support. The Dreamers are the Best Group of people in SL and every week we get a few people stronger!!  Franklee will be back in-world on Monday, the 23rd for his 6pm show at Moonshines.  Hope to see you all there!!

Hi Jasmine! For about 25 years I played the same Fender acoustic. It’s what I used for the first two years playing live in SL as well. Now I play a Martin OMC-1E. I love it!

Hi Derek! It was good to see you at Moonshines tonight. When I was eight my big sisters were always playing music by Dylan, The Beatles, Stones — even The Monkees! By the time I was ten I knew the lyrics to Rocky Raccoon and American Pie by heart, even though I didn’t start playing a musical instrument until I was eighteen. My teenage years were in the 70s but I got an early start on rock & roll because of my big sisters. As far as real life gigs go I have been in full bands and duos and even a singles act in bars, parties and nightclubs since the mid-nineties, but I no longer have a regular gig schedule outside of SL. I’m pretty spoiled by the ease and ability to perform in the virtual worlds!

Thanks for the questions! This idea of JBird’s is pretty cool!
